The Baltimore Ravens vs. Atlanta Falcons line has been hovering around even odds.  The Ravens were the most bet on team in the NFL as of Wednesday evening even though the action they were getting in this game was around 65 percent.  We should point out that the Falcons were the third most wagered on team in the NFL, making this game the most bet on by a long shot.  The OVER 44 was getting close to 85 percent of the betting action here.  This game is being played on Thursday night.

Both teams come into this game with 6-2 records.  Both teams lead their respective divisions.

Atlanta’s offense is averaging 30.8 points in its last four home games. The Falcons have won 13 straight home games when starting Ryan, who is 17-1 all-time at the Georgia Dome.

The Ravens, meanwhile, held the opposition under 85 rushing yards for the third time in five games Sunday.

"Obviously, they have a defense that does a lot of things and they have a lot of talented guys," Atlanta quarterback Matt Ryan said. "We are going to have our work cut out for us."

It’s not just Baltimore’s defense that Atlanta needs to worry about.  The offense has averaged 28.5 points and 389.5 yards in the last four games.

When it comes to betting trends, the Ravens beat Atlanta on the road last season 20-3.

The Falcons are 8-2 Against The Spread in their last 10 games following an ATS loss.  They are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games as a home favorite.

As a road underdog of 3 points or less (Baltimore is technically +1), the Ravens have gone 8-1 ATS.

One of the most interesting trends that continue to play an important role with Atlanta is that they find it difficult to amass more than two consecutive ATS wins.  The Falcons are 2-9 ATS after winning two consecutive games.  The edge would therefore go to Baltimore where this stat is concerned.

The betting on tonight's Falcons-Packers game is interesting because the public clearly prefers Green Bay, but some of the larger spread money is showing up on Atlanta.
