With the Colts vs. Patriots line moving up to -4 from the opening -3, spread action was around 60/40 favoring New England.  This was a heavily bet on game with the Patriots still among the top 5 most bet on teams of the week despite action not being entirely lopsided.  The Colts would pay out $17.50 for every $10 bet with an outright win on the money line.  Nearly 60 percent of those betting the money line were backing Indianapolis.  The OVER/UNDER was 50 with slightly more people (65 percent) betting the UNDER.

The Colts have covered in 4 of the last 6 games of this series while pushing in a 5th.  Indianapolis has won 5 of the last 6 games against New England Straight Up.  They successfully knocked off Cincinnati last weekend.  They come into this game 6-3 while New England is at 7-2.

The Patriots pulled off a big win against Pittsburgh last week. Tom Brady had his sixth career game with at least 350 passing yards, three TDs and zero interceptions. That's tied for second most all-time with Peyton Manning.

Let’s look at some important betting trends coming into the Colts vs. Patriots second half Sunday game.

The Colts are 9-1-2 Against The Spread vs. a team with a winning record.

The Colts are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games as an underdog.  The Patriots are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games as a home favorite of 3.5-10.0.

The Colts are 12-4-2 ATS in their last 18 road games.

Indianapolis is 18-7-3 ATS in their last 28 games following a S.U. win.

The Colts are 3-9-1 ATS in their last 13 games after allowing less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game.

The Patriots are 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall.

New England is 4-11 ATS in their last 15 games after allowing less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game.

Patriots are 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 games as a favorite.

The Patriots are 1-5-1 ATS in their last 7 home games vs. a team with a winning road record.
