The game goes off Thursday, 8:20 pm Eastern on the NFL Network

The New York Jets host the Cincinnati Bengals on Thanksgiving night in a game that can be seen on the NFL Network.  The Jets have been playing close games recently as all three of their wins this month have gone down to the end including last week’s 30-27 win over Houston.  New York is hoping this game on Sunday is not as close against the rotten Bengals.

New York is an 9 point favorite with a total of 43 at SBG Global.

The Bengals have not won a game since September and they don’t figure to win on Thursday night. Cincinnati had Buffalo all but buried last week but they were outscored 35-0 down the stretch and ended up getting blown out 49-31.  Cincinnati actually quit late in that game and the Bengals may be giving up even earlier this week against a superior New York team.

The Jets are 8-2 and they have yet to play their best football betting this season.  They may not need to be at their best on Thursday against a Cincinnati team that is allowing almost 30 points per game. The Bengals are not stopping the run as they are allowing 124.1 yards per game the past couple of months. The Jets should have a field day as they are averaging 145.9 yards per game on the ground. The Jets have also proven they can throw the ball as quarterback Mark Sanchez has thrown for 950 yards and six TDs in the last three games.

The Jets have won eight of the last nine in this series against the Bengals including both meetings last year. Here are more football betting stats for Thursday’s game. The Bengals are 2-5 ATS vs. a team with a winning record. The Bengals are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games in November. The Bengals are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 vs. the AFC. The Bengals are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The Bengals are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 meetings against the Jets.

The Jets are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 vs. the AFC. The Jets are 13-6 ATS in their last 19 games overall. The Jets are 4-10 ATS in their last 14 games as a home favorite.
