The San Diego Chargers look to continue their late NFL season success as they visit the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday night.  These two teams have developed a rivalry in recent seasons even though they play in different divisions.  This will be the third visit for the Chargers to Indianapolis in the last five years.  The Colts have had very little success against the Chargers and San Diego is not a team that Peyton Manning likes to play.

Indianapolis is a 3-point favorite with a total of 51.5 at SBG Global.

Manning and the Colts have lost four of five matchups against the Chargers since the start of the 2005 season.  Manning’s passer rating against the Chargers is lower than his rating against any other team he faces on a regular basis.  The Colts have not scored more than 24 points in the last five meetings against the Chargers.

San Diego comes into this game having won three straight games after starting the NFL season 2-5. It is another typical year for San Diego as they started slowly but are coming on strong.  The offense behind Philip Rivers is rolling as they have averaged 32.7 points in their last three games with Rivers throwing 10 touchdown passes.  And now Rivers gets top receiver Vincent Jackson back into the lineup.  Jackson led the Chargers last season with 1,167 receiving yards and nine touchdown catches.

The Colts are 4-0 at home this season and have won 19 of their last 20 at Lucas Oil Stadium.  The Chargers are 1-4 on the road this season but they are a confident team coming into this game. Here are more football betting stats for Sunday’s game. The Chargers are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games in November. The Chargers are 17-6-3 ATS in their last 26 games as a road underdog. The Chargers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 meetings at Indianapolis.

The Colts are 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 games in November. The Colts are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 home games. The Colts are 11-5-2 ATS in their last 18 games as a favorite.

The Over is 24-11-3 in the Chargers last 38 road games. The Under is 4-1 in the Colts last 5 home games. The Under is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings between the two teams.
