After opening at -1, the Dolphins vs. Raiders line has moved up to -2.5 heading into Sunday afternoon.  85 percent of the spread action was going Oakland’s way.  The total on this game was 38 with 75 percent of those betting on the OVER.

Both these teams come into this game with a 5-5 record, though Oakland has been considered one of the season’s freshest surprises after years of subpar performances.  The Dolphins come into this game riddled by injuries, one of which is their starting quarterback Chad Pennington.  As such, the Dolphins will now start Chad Henne while Oakland is set to start Bruce Gradkowski.

Let’s look at some betting trends for the Dolphins vs. Raiders game:

The Dolphins are 5-0-2 Against The Spread in their last 7 games as a road underdog of 0.5-3.0 and 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games as a road underdog while the Raiders are a dismal 1-10 ATS in their last 11 games as a home favorite of 0.5-3.0.  The Raiders are 1-11 ATS in their last 12 games as a home favorite.  (edge:  Dolphins)

The Dolphins are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. loss.

The Raiders are 8-1 ATS in their last 9 games following a ATS loss and are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games following a S.U. loss.
