The Auburn vs. South Carolina spread was listed at 5.5 in favor of number-2 ranked Auburn after opening at -5.  The Tigers were the 6th more bet on team in all sports at most online betting sites as of Friday afternoon.  The spread was getting around 60 percent of the backing, which goes to show how heavily bet on this particular game is.  The Auburn money line was getting closer to 70 percent of the public backing while the OVER 61.5 was getting around that same percentage.  This, by the way, was the third biggest total in College Football this week.

Auburn has managed to win by fighting back from huge deficits in a number of games.

"We tell them every week, there's storms that you're going to have to weather every game," Auburn coach Gene Chizik said. "We told them that going into the Alabama game there's going to be a storm in this game that could be pretty violent and we're going to have to weather that storm. They hear that and they understand that."

For Auburn, it’s not just a shot at the Southeastern Conference that’s on the line, the Tigers have a chance to play for the national title.  Those odds would pay out $18 for every $10 bet at Sportsbook.com as of right now.

South Carolina comes into this game ranked number 19.

There were only a few worthwhile trends to consider for the South Carolina vs. Auburn game.

Auburn beat South Carolina earlier this season by 8 points.

The Tigers are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games as a favorite of 3.5-10.0.

The Tigers are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 conference games.

The Tigers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall.
