The Saints-Ravens spread was getting the most betting action of the week with Baltimore the third most wagered on team and the Saints the 4th most wagered on team.  This game was getting significant volume coming into Week 15 Sunday play.  Spread action was literally 51 percent in favor of the Ravens and 49 percent in favor of the Saints.  It is of course a game with very significant ramifications for both teams.  The line on this game ranged from -1 to -2.5 in favor of the Ravens as of Saturday evening, depending on the sportsbook.

The Saints are playing just as well offensively as they did last year en route to their Super Bowl win but are one game behind Atlanta in the NFC South.

The Saints have scored at least 30 points in their last five games, including a 31-13 win over St. Louis on Sunday, tying the longest streak in franchise history originally set in 2002.

"It was just a matter of getting into a rhythm," said Brees, who needs 145 passing yards to reach 4,000 for a fifth straight season. "We're just trying to get guys in and for everybody to find their role."

Baltimore comes into this game with a 9-4 record and is behind Pittsburgh in the AFC North.  They had one of their worst defensive showings of the season last week in a 34-28 overtime win against Houston.

"We've just been kind of inconsistent, and it's cost us," linebacker Jarret Johnson said. "We've been extremely dominant at times, and there have been times we haven't played so well."

It marked the second straight game in which Baltimore gave up a fourth-quarter lead.

Below we will look at some important Saints-Ravens betting trends:
