The GoDaddy.com Bowl Miami Ohio vs. Middle Tennessee spread was  listed at -2.5 in favor of Middle Tennessee after Miami Ohio opened as the -2.5 favorite (note that Gambling911.com had previously eroneously published that Miami Ohio was currently the favorite).  Spread betting action on this game was balanced heading into Game Day Thursday.  Miami Ohio was getting close to 80 percent of the money line action.  The total on this game was set at 48.5 with just shy of 70 percent on the OVER.

Adam Rittenberg of ESPN.com notes that Miami (Ohio) mounted the nation's biggest turnaround, going from 1-11 in 2009 to 9-4 and a MAC championship.

RedHawks quarterback Zac Dysert (spleen) could miss the game, but backup Austin Boucher is ready. Middle Tennessee quarterback Dwight Dasher ended a rough season on a good note against Florida International and shined last year in the New Orleans Bowl.

There were nominal trends of any significance heading into this game.
