Gambling911.com has your Oregon-Auburn BCS Championship game prediction and you can rest assured we won’t be betting on the Total, which at press time was set at an unbelievable 72.5.

Let’s cut right to the chase.  We’re liking Auburn in this game for a couple of reasons even though this is by no means a pick we would put a whole lot of money on.

First off, the Tigers have the better quarterback in Cam Newton.

Second, we like the fact that Auburn is more battle tested coming into the BCS Championship.  They have won six games against top 25 teams while the Ducks have only a single win over a top 25-ranked team.

Where the Ducks excel over Auburn is on defense and we can’t help but think this game will be a very close affair.

The Ducks have the No. 1 rushing defense in the Pac 10 and rank 15th overall.  Oregon has given up just 117.6 rushing yards per game.  They average 2.58 sacks per game.

When it comes to betting trends, the Ducks are 5-1 Against The Spread in their last 6 bowl games as an underdog while the Tigers are 7-1-1 ATS in their last 9 games as a favorite of 0.5-3.0.  Auburn is 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games overall.

Auburn -2is our pick in this game though again we suggest only a small wager.  This promises to be a close affair.
