The Steelers 2011 Super Bowl odds would pay out more than $500 on a $100 bet.  First they must get beyond the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday afternoon.

Pittsburgh had entered the season as pretty big long shots for the first time in many seasons due to the off-the-field antics of starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and his subsequent suspension for a series of earlier games.  The Steelers were posted at 14/1 odds.

There is some good news for the Steelers coming into Saturday’s divisional playoffs game. Pittsburgh has won the last six games in this series when Ben Roethlisberger has played.  Still, as past trends indicate, this game is expected to come down to a field goal and can go either way.

"The team that wins this game is going to be the most violent team, the team that is most physical," Steelers defensive lineman Chris Hoke told the team's official website. "It's the team that goes out there to push the other team around."

A win over Baltimore will mean the Steelers play either the Jets or Patriots in the AFC championship game.

"The Jets and Patriots are great teams, but they're just getting started," Pittsburgh receiver Hines Ward said. "This has been going on for years."
