The line on the Pittsburgh Steelers has fallen a half point to -3 at SBG Global Saturday morning.  Most online sportsbooks were holding at -3.5.  The significance of this line move is that, should the Steelers win by a field goal, the bet will not be a loss.

“It’s insurance,” explains Don Shapiro of Gambling911.com.

Pittsburgh will host the New York Jets later on Sunday in the pivotal AFC Championship game to determine which of the two teams will head to the Super Bowl.

Coming into the regular 2010 season, Pittsburgh had double digit odds of winning the Super Bowl as doubts lingered over starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger’s off-the-field antics.  He was suspended the first few weeks of the season, however, the Steelers got off to a strong start without Big Ben.
