Las Vegas Teams Up With British Online Gambling Regulatory Arm

Las Vegas regulators have entered into an agreement with the British-based Alderney Gambling Control Commission, the online gambling regulatory body for the British Channel Islands where many of today’s biggest Web-based casinos and bookmakers operate.

“We are looking forward to working with Nevada Gaming Control Board in the areas of investigations, compliance and developing technical standards,” André Wilsenach, chief executive officer of the Alderney Gambling Control Commission told eGaming Review.

Nevada regulators are reviewing a potential partnership between 888.com, one of the biggest online gambling enterprises, and the parent company of the World Series of Poker, Caesars Entertainment.
