SBG Global has released the line on the San Antonio Spurs vs. Los Angeles Lakers game with the number coming in at Lakers -7.

Tuesday, 10:35 pm Eastern – TNT

The Los Angeles Lakers will try and break their five-game losing streak as they host the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday night.  The Lakers were rolling along after the All-Star break and looking like defending champions as they went 17-1 but in the last week or so, the wheels have come off as Los Angeles has lost five straight. They will try and get some confidence heading into the NBA playoffs against the best team in the West, the San Antonio Spurs.

Lakers are – 7 point favorites at SBG Global.com and the total for the game is set at 194.

The Spurs have clinched the top seed in the Western Conference and they are ahead of Chicago for the top overall record in the league. The Spurs have won four straight and at the same time they have also been able to rest players for the playoffs.  San Antonio has been excellent on the road this season against the spread going 25-13-1.

The Lakers come into this game having lost five in a row both straight up and against the spread. The Lakers are even in danger of losing the second seed in the Western Conference to either Dallas or Oklahoma City.  This betting game on Tuesday is suddenly very important for the Lakers.

The Spurs have beaten the Lakers in both meetings this season. They won on a last second shot at Los Angeles back in February and they blew out the Lakers 99-83 last month in San Antonio.

Here are the betting stats for Tuesday’s game. The Spurs are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 vs. the Pacific. The Spurs are 9-4 ATS in their last 13 Tuesday games. The Lakers are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 vs. the Southwest. The Lakers are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 home games. The Lakers are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 vs. the Western Conference.  In this series, the Underdog is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings and the road team is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings.

The Over is 4-1 in the Spurs last 5 road games. The Over is 23-8 in the Spurs last 31 overall. The Under is 5-1 in the Lakers last 6 overall. The Under is 4-1 in the Lakers last 5 vs. the Southwest.  In this series, the Under is 7-0 in the last 7 meetings in Los Angeles.

Sixers? Knicks? Who Can Challenge Boston in the East this Season?

As the new NBA season gets underway, there is most certainly a sense that the Boston Celtics are the team to beat once again. The 18-time champions really took an “if it’s not broken, don’t try to fix it” policy in the offseason, and it’s hard to argue with the tactic.
