What are Donald Trump’s odds of winning the GOP nomination for the 2012 US Presidency?

He hasn’t quite gotten over that 7 percent hump despite heavy amounts of press and improved poll numbers.

Intrade.comgamblers appear bearish.

Trump, on the other hand, seems like a bull.

He appeared on Eliot Spitzer’s CNN show Friday night to insist the couple billion dollars Forbes said he was worth a few years back is a substantial underestimation.

“They don’t have access to my financials,” Trump harped.

With each appearance, the real estate maven seems more inclined to run.

His quick fix on the economy would be to create jobs by imposing huge tariff’s on the Chinese and other nations he says continue to steal work away from Americans.

Credit card support should be based in Iowa, he asserted, not India.

The message is resonating among pollsters but not the prediction markets.

That might all change should he actually announce his bid for President.
