The so-called Bellagio Bandit, Anthony Carleo, may be facing charges in connection with a robbery at the Suncoast Casino in Las Vegas.

Carleo is charged with a brazen $1.5 million armed chip robbery at the Bellagio Hotel in December.  He was arrested on February 3 after attempting to sell the stolen chips to the undercover officer.

Just days prior to the Bellagio robbery, the Suncoast Casino had been targeted and police suspected the same individual was involved.

The robber wore a full face helmet and got away on a dark motorcycle in both heists.  He also brandished a weapon at both locations.

The Suncoast robbery took place at 12:30 a.m. on Dec. 9 near where a poker tournament was taking place.

Carleo, the son of a Las Vegas Municipal Judge, has had two additional charges lodged against him as well as an enhanced charge of robbing a person over the age of 60.
