It’s a huge week in Major League Baseball with MLB bettors getting their first taste of interleague play this season.

And among the interleague matchups are six series involving what the league calls "traditional rivalries," which all get going when play between the American League and the National League opens Friday.

MLB Odds at BetED will have series prices, along with moneyline, point spread and over/under total lines available for all the action.

The interleague series that usually gets the most attention is the Subway Series between the New York Yankees and the New York Mets, which opens Friday at Yankee Stadium.

The Mets will have lefty Chris Capuano on the mound against Yankees’ righthander Freddy Garcia.

The Yankees are 11-3 in the past 14 “modern day” versions of the Subway Series.

Another series has the Washington Nationals taking on the Baltimore Orioles in the Beltway Series, with the Nationals’ Livan Hernandez facing the Orioles’ Jake Arrieta.

But the one series that might be the most entertaining has the Cincinnati Reds and the Cleveland Indians opening the Ohio Cup on Friday.

For the first time in years, both the Reds and Indians lead their respective divisions, with Cincinnati 1.5 games up on the St. Louis Cardinals in the NL Central and Cleveland 4.5 games ahead of the Detroit Tigers in the AL Central.

Other series on tap this week include the Cardinals facing the Kansas City Royals in the I-70 Series, the Oakland Athletics and San Francisco Giants squaring off in the Battle of the Bay, and the Tampa Bay Rays and Florida Marlins in the Citrus Series.
