Non US Poker Players at Full Tilt Poker Now Having Trouble Cashing Out
Following the events of April 15 whereby Full Tilt Poker and two other online poker rooms had numerous bank accounts seized by the US Justice Department, those living outside the United States continued to get paid.
Unfortunately Full Tilt Poker international players are complaining to Gambling911.com that they are having great difficulties withdrawing funds.
Hello.. im a user of FTP.. i cashed out xxxx and have xxxx on my account, i want a help or want to know what is happening with my money or what can i do.. cause i always cashout money without problem.. now moneybookers is not available for payouts and just for deposit.. they sad that they sended a check, but they cannot provide me information about it, and their emails are ridicolous, what can i do? please help!!!
PokerStars and UB.com were also indicted on April 15. While PokerStars has paid out its US players in full, Full Tilt Poker and UB.com are yet to do so.
Sources close to UB.com say that the company is awaiting word from the US Attorney’s Office out of the Southern District of New York to release seized funds that would then be used to pay players. It is unclear as to whether the amount contained within those frozen accounts is indeed enough to pay players in full.
Needless-to-say, those living outside the US who continue to play at Full Tilt Poker (and UB.com for that matter0 are taking a real gamble the longer this plays out. Back in 2007 when the popular payment processor NETeller found itself indicted, European and Canadian customers continued to use the company with much disregard for what was transpiring in the US. At the time, they considered it a "US problem" brought on by the government. They still considered NETeller a solid company. This appears to be the case today with Full Tilt Poker as well.
