The online sports books won out over the betting public in a big way for a second straight week.

A win by the Miami Dolphins and cover by the Arizona Cardinals helped propel the bookmakers to victory. Well over 85 percent of the betting action was going towards both teams in their respective matchups.

While the Tampa Bay vs. Dallas game enjoyed less lopsided action, the Buccaneers win helped give an edge to the bookies.

A New Orleans Saints win and St. Louis Rams cover verses New England also helped to add to the bottom line of online bookmakers.

Only the Washington Redskins cover and Baltimore Ravens big win really provided any type of solace to the betting public during Week 8.
