Cake Poker Cashouts: The Fastest Way to Get Your Money

Like with most US-facing online poker rooms/networks, Cake Poker is currently suffering from a cashouts backlog that they hope to have rectified within the next month or so.  The US Government went after Full Tilt Poker, UB.com and PokerStars on April 15 after they were alleged to have been engaging in bank fraud and money laundering,  The Cake Poker Network was not embroiled in this investigation, but players across the board have been inconvenienced as a result as US-facing networks look to ensure they work with the best payout processors (and vice versa).

Not all Cake Poker rooms are alike and Gambling911.com strongly suggest playing at one (a skin) that offers its own payment platform.

We touched on a few of these already.  They include PokerWorld.com (operated by TheGreek.com, one of the biggest names in online sports betting) and Intertops.com (the first online gambling website to come online).  Both are primarily sportsbook operations, though Intertops tends to focus heavily on its online casino operation.  It is pretty widely known that The Greek does not make much money from his Cake Poker skin, nonetheless, the hope is that poker players will ultimately move over to the sports betting side of his business and start wagering on sporting events.

Gambling911.com recently had an opportunity to speak with Chuck Kidd while in Costa Rica.  He’s the head of the Poker Players Network (PPN), another Cake Poker skin.

Like with The Greek and Intertops.com, PPN offers its own payment processing platform, which allows customers to get paid faster than with a number of other Cake Poker rooms during these trying times in most instances.

“Cake has been great so far,” Kidd noted regarding his nearly 6-month relationship with the US-facing online poker network.  He had previously operated on three other networks before joining Cake.

The Cake Poker network is working on ways to improve payouts but Kidd explains that processors serving the US market are few and far between.

“For now it is going to be harder to get money into the United States,” he acknowledged.
