Odds of Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga winning the Men’s Wimbledon Singles Tournament in 2011 were still at an incredible 7 to 1 with a payout potential of US$700 on every US$100 bet at William Hill.

The 26-year-old Tsonga stunned one of the favorites to win the tournament on Wednesday, Roger Federer.

The six-time champion was an amazing 178-0 when he won the first two sets of a Grand Slam singles match. Tsonga rallied with a 3-6, 6-7 (3), 6-4, 6-4 and 6-4.

“I think my game was plenty good enough this year to win the tournament, but unfortunately there’s only one who can win it, and the rest go home empty-handed,” Federer said. “That’s what happened to me today, but Jo played an amazing match.”
