29 Players Still Sitting in The Poker Player's Championship 2011: Phil Hellmuth Going Strong
With 29 players left out of 128 entered in the 2011 Poker Player’s Championship, all eyes were glued to WSOP bracelet record holder Phil Hellmuth as he looks to grab his 12th bracelet.
Hellmuth has come close so far this year, finishing two WSOP tournaments in 2nd place and cashing out a few grand.
At press time Tuesday afternoon, Hellmuth had the 5th biggest chip stack.
The chip leader was noted poker pro Josh Arieh. Brian Rast and George Lind followed.
Only 6 of the remaining 29 players were non-US citizens including big name Dane Gus Hansen.
Last year’s 2nd place Poker Player’s Championship winner, Vladimir Shchemelev, had the 5th largest chip count going into Tuesday afternoon.
