Full Tilt Poker Claims Must be Filed by Midnight Friday July 15

Those looking to file claims against Full Tilt Poker in order to recoup monies owed must do so no later than Friday July 15 (which is just hours away from this writing).

Full Tilt Poker was among three online poker sites indicted on April 15 in what was later referred to as “Black Friday”.  FTP is yet to pay back customers after US authorities froze funds.

The Poker Players Alliance seems to be recommending against filing such a claim with the US Attorney’s Office, even by those owed large sums.  Nonetheless, they’ve published a helpful guide for those who wish to pursue such an action.

History may support the PPA’s notion.

Just last week, customers of now defunct BetOnSports began receiving their checks in the mail five years after filing claims against that company.  For most, the final settlement checks came in just shy of 5 cents on the dollar.  Anyone owed a few hundred dollars were basically out of luck.
