One of the most important NFL signings post lockout might very well be Chad Ochocinco to the Patriots, who had incredible value at 13/2 odds of winning the Super Bowl

The number of NFL signings has been nuts in days following the end of the lockout with the latest being Chad Ochocinco being shipped off to New England.

That move can only help the Patriots.  Current Patriots odds of winning the 2012 Super Bowl were listed around 13/2.   They were the second favorite to win after Green Bay.

Sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter that the Bengals will receive two draft picks, one this year and one next season.

ESPN.com noted that the 10-year veteran Ochocinco caught 67 passes for 831 yards and four touchdowns last season. That was a drop-off from 2009, the last of his six Pro Bowl years, when Ochocinco had 72 receptions for 1,047 yards and nine TDs.

Other noteworthy post-Lockout NFL signings include Jason Babin to Philadelphia.  He recorded a career high 12.5 sacks last season with Tennessee.  The Eagles were listed at 14/1 odds of winning the Super Bowl.

Matt Hasselbeck is heading to the Titans.

Two important re-signings include Santonio Holmes for the New York Jets (14/1 odds) and DeAngelo Williams for the Carolina Panthers.
