The Cleveland Browns odds to win the AFC North were set at 8/1 whereas they should probably be more like 20/1 considering this division includes the likes of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens.  Nonetheless, it was just a few years ago that the Cincinnati Bengals managed to stun with an AFC North division win, so anything is possible we suppose…probably just not this year.

When it comes to the Browns, we’ll be looking at regular season win total betting.

Keep in mind, this is a team that stunned the New England Patriots and New Orleans Saints last season.  Can they have a few more tricks up their sleeves?

They should get the season started off right with a game against Cincinnati at home before heading to Indianapolis.  Then they host Miami and Tennessee.  It is conceivable that the Browns could start the season 3-1.

Cleveland heads to Oakland, a game that we at Gambling911.com would have to put in the losing column for now.  They will host Seattle and should be able to pull off a victory before heading to San Francisco.

We can see Cleveland actually going 2-1 during this three game stretch, however, at this junction in time we see it going the other way at 1-2.

After going on the road to play Houston, the Browns should be able to handle the Rams and Jaguars at home before heading off to play in Cincinnati.  This stretch has the possibility of a 3-1 record and they’ll need it because the last five games should be the most difficult.

Two Baltimore games, two Pittsburgh games and one in Arizona.  Gambling911.com believes the Cardinals will be a force this season, however, there is a chance that Week 15 game won’t matter much to Arizona should they manage to pull out way ahead in that division.  The Browns, we feel, will probably win one of these five games.

In the end, it looks like they can win 8 regular season games, though their chances of having 7 victories is much greater.

The good news is that the oddsmakers have made the line on the OVER/UNDER at 6.5 -140.  That to us is some good value.

Future Betting Value Index:

Cleveland Browns to win the AFC North Division 8/1 – Poor

Cleveland Browns to win OVER 6.5 regular season games at -140 - Good
