Last year they stunned us and this year Gambling911.com will look at the Tampa Bay Bucs odds to win the 2012 Super Bowl.  Can they do it?  At 36/1 odds, we’ll bet they can.

Unfortunately the Buccaneers have lost Cadillac Williams and his leadership, more than anything, will be missed over the coming season.

They still have Josh Freeman and a host of supporting young talent.  That said, the schedule may make for a tough run to the Playoffs, let alone the Super Bowl.

Home games against Detroit, Chicago, Carolina, Dallas and Houston are all winnable.  One of the games at home against Atlanta, Indianapolis and New Orleans are winnable as well, but keep in mind this isn’t a team that was particularly strong a home.  Attendance should be greater in 2011 after Tampa’s run last year, however, and the home crowd could be a factor.

On the road, Tampa Bay should be able to win in Minnesota, San Francisco, Carolina, Tennessee and Jacksonville.

On paper it is actually easy to see an 11-win season.  That may or may not be enough to land Tampa Bay in the Playoffs when we are talking about the NFC South.

Still, those 36/1 odds of winning the Super Bowl have fair value.  Winning OVER 8 regular season games at even odds provides the best betting value where Tampa Bay is concerned in our book.  Even throwing out the Dallas and Houston games at home and adding one upset gets us over the 8 regular season wins.
