As NFL betting gets underway Sunday, one of the most wagered on games will no doubt be New England Patriots vs. Indianapolis Colts.  Odds on this game opened at Indianapolis -5 and have since moved all the way up to -6 ½ at betED.com

Most bets will start coming in later this afternoon as New England Patriots vs. Indianapolis Colts is a Sunday night game, usually among the most bet on of any week outside of the Monday Night Football game.

In any given year, this would be the most anticipated game of the season.  This year is different as both the Colts and Patriots have sustained injuries and - in the case of the Colts at least - it shows in their record.

New England at one time dominated the Colts.  They are 7-3 in this series but Indianapolis is 3-1 over the last four games (and 4-0 ATS).  Home team advantage means little as the last ten games have been split.

The Patriots are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 vs. AFC and 1-9 ATS in their last 10 games following a S.U. win.  They are, however, 15-6 ATS in their last 21 road games.

New England is 0-6 ATS vs. a team with a losing record.  Indianapolis is 0-4 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.

In the end, this is a tough game for Gambling911.com to offer a prediction on.  Historic stats and recent trends do not allow for much accuracy in what the final result could be.  Likewise, we have two teams that have lost some games badly.  One also has to factor in the notion that the Colts - who have lost two straight - will be more hungry than ever for a win here.
