Bilzerian tweeted this weekend:

Just woke up.Docs think it was a minor heart attack or AGE.First thing I did when I got home was shower,& sex.Still have chest pain, gambling

He tweeted while in the hospital, noting that the guy sharing his room had just died.

While three heart attacks by the age of 30 may be a bit extreme, nearly 10 percent of heart attacks occur in men under the age of 45.   Cholesterol-filled blockages in the arteries that serve the heart tend to be the primary culprit.  Other causes include chest trauma, drug usage (i.e. cocaine) and abuse of steroids without a doctor’s prescription.

The cause of Bilzerian’s third heart attack could not immediately be determined.
