Bodog Poker Software Sucks, Company CEO Confesses
In an interview with Inside Poker Business, Bodog Europe CEO Patrik Selin pretty much admitted that the company’s current poker software platform just isn’t up to par, hence the reason why Bodog hasn’t aggressively marketed its virtual card room in Europe in conjunction with its efforts on the sports gambling front.
'If you are going to do a lot of marketing you need to have good software or you are just training up players for one of the bigger sites so until now we have kept a lower profile,' he said.
That’s set to change come November when Bodog.com launches its new poker software.
Selin claims it will be third best in the industry, and maybe second (the assumption being that Full Tilt Poker will stay dead and buried).
'After we get it up in November it's going to be a really big step forward and then you are going to see much more poker marketing from us.'
