Annie Duke was recently chosen as a panelist for CBS News What’s Trending segment where she discussed everything from Jay-Z and Beyonce’s baby announcement on the MTV Music Video Awards to 17-year-old bride Courtney Stodden's new reality TV showto jokes about the devastating hurricane Irene.

Some felt that the mega couple should not have made their announcement during the awards show, to which Duke replied:

"People have lost the distinction between private and public life.  She'd be fine with the Google+ policy."

Courtney Stodden, the 17-year-old who married 51-year-old actor Doug Hutchinson, getting her own reality TV show had the panelists squirming.

Fellow panelist Joel Stein quipped:  “A) Is she from the south? B) Are her breasts real? and C) Is Hutchinson gay?”

Duke said she had no problem with controversial television, adding that she personally would not watch it, nor will we at Gambling911.com.

Regarding hurricane jokes, Duke pointed out the fact that people do die and it’s probably best not to joke about such a tragedy.

Stein and Duke pointed out it's okay to have fun with non-disasters, like when the hurricane came to New Yorkand was hardly noticed.  Of course outlying areas got slammed.
