Houston Texans vs. Miami Dolphins betting odds were at -3 in favor of the visiting Texans.  Houston was getting 85 percent of the spread backing while Miami was getting 65 percent of the money line action.

Sam Simmons of BetOnline.com noted:

“Even without running back Arian Foster the Texans blew away the Manning-less Colts 34-7 in one of the most lopsided matchups of week one, and they are hoping their top option out of the backfield will be ready for Miami. Foster remains one of the most explosive threats in the league, and until he gets in to the lineup we won’t be able to see the Texans’ true potential.

“The Dolphins’ biggest concern is on defense, where they simply couldn’t slow down the Patriots’ attack.”

Houston has beaten Miami in all five games played this decade including a 27-20 road win in 2009.

While the Dolphins are 11-4 Against The Spread in their last 15 games as an underdog, they are also an abysmal 3-12-2 ATS in their last 17 games in September.
