Laurent Tapie Said to be Part of Rumored Investors Looking to Buy Full Tilt Poker

Frenchman Laurent Tapie is reported to be among those investors looking to purchase the disgraced online poker company, Full Tilt Poker. Tapie is the son of French businessman Bernard Tapie, who heads up Adidas and the Olympic Marseille football team.

In 1993, the same year that the Olympique de Marseille won the Champions League, Barry Tapie was accused of fixing the match between his club and minor club Valenciennes. He has also been prosecuted for tax fraud.
