The San Diego State vs. Air Force spread opened at -6 and has remained steady everywhere.  This despite the fact that nearly 70 percent of the spread backing was on the underdog Aztecs.

Each school sports an identical record at 3-2 on the season and 0-1 within their own conference.

While Air Force has won three of the last four in this series, San Diego State’s win came last season.  That win was by 2 points and at home.  Visiting Air Force has been a whole different story with double digit losses during the last three meetings.

Recent trends do not necessarily favor Air Force, however.  They are  5-1 Against The Spread in their last 6 games as a favorite of 3.5-10.0 but are also 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games as a favorite, 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games as a home favorite, and 1-7 ATS in their last 8 conference games.

The Falcons are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games after allowing more than 40 points in their previous game and are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games after allowing more than 450 total yards in their previous game.

The trends related to San Diego State are rather insignificant coming into this game.
