Kansas State vs. Oklahoma State Line

The Kansas State vs. Oklahoma State line was coming in at -21 in favor of the Cowboys.  When was the first time we have seen a 7-1 team (the Wildcats) as a +21 underdog.  I mean, seriously, what kind of a spread is this?

Well, the betting public agrees.  75 percent of those betting the 21-point spread love Oklahoma State.  The Cowboys are undefeated and ranked number 4 but Kansas State comes into this one also ranked at number 19.

This series dates back to 1993 (the last 10 games) and none of them have been won by more than 10 points by Oklahoma State.  That 10 point victory did happen last year and occurred at Kansas State, we should point out though.

“Kansas State is a great story. Oklahoma State is a better team playing at home,” notes Blake Frazier of BetOnline.com.  “The Wildcats are good, but the Cowboys are appreciably better, and Weeden’s experience as a passer should be a difference maker for OSU.”

We think Oklahoma State should win outright as well.  But it might very well be worth betting Kansas State on the money line here to win outright.  The payout is just shy of $1000 on a $100 bet and $100 on a $10 bet

Frazier agrees not to overlook Kansas State here:  The experts who follow the Big 12 Conference are fully aware of the capabilities of Kansas State head coach Bill Snyder. The white-haired wizard lifted K-State to very lofty heights in his first go-round at the program, taking a team with one of the very worst track records in the sport (over the course of several decades through the 1980s) and turning it into a legitimate national power.”

He went into retirement and returned for round two.  Now Kansas State is back to top form.
