Punta Cana Poker Classic

The 2nd annual Punta Cana Poker Classic will officially begin on Wednesday with delegates and players arriving in the Dominican Republic on Tuesday.  Gambling911.com will be covering this event from Punta Cana so visit this site often for all the latest updates.

Also on Tuesday, the Final Table of the 2011 World Series of Poker will begin with live coverage (30 minute time delay) on ESPN.  The final two players will go at it following Sunday's eliminations. 

Here is the 2011 Punta Cana Poker Classic schedule.  The event will take place at the fabulous all-inclusive Hard Rock Resort, featuring several pools, beach, all you can drink premium liquor, several themed restaurants, all with free food.

Main Event:

4-Day Event

Players start with 20,000 in tournament chips.

Blind levels are 50 minutes. 20 minute break every 2 levels.

3 hours of late registration

Re-entry allowed during the late registration period.

Play Schedule:

Day 1 -> 10 Levels

Day 2 -> 10 Levels

Day 3 -> Play down to 9 players

Day 4 -> Final Table

 

Second Chance:

2-Day Event

Players start with 10,000 in tournament chips.

Blind levels are 30 minutes. 15 minute break every 4 levels.

3 hours of late registration

Re-entry allowed during the late registration period.

Play Schedule:

Day 1 -> Play down to 9 players

Day 2 -> Final Table

1-Day Event

Blind levels are 20 minutes. 15 minute break every 6 levels.

1-Day Event

Players start with 5,000 in tournament chips.

Blind levels are 20 minutes. 15 minute break every 6 levels.

Re-entry allowed during the late registration period.

One entry to the Main event for every $1650 in the prizepool.

Seats awarded are non-refundable, non-negotiable and non-transferrable.

Winner MUST play the event.

 

Super Satellite Turbo B

1-Day Event

Players start with 5,000 in tournament chips.

Blind levels are 15 minutes. 15 minute break every 6 levels.

3 hours of late registration

Re-entry allowed during the late registration period.

One entry to the Main event for every $1650 in the prizepool.

Seats awarded are non-refundable, non-negotiable and non-transferrable.

Winner MUST play the event.
