The folks from DonBest.com believed the 49ers Ravens line would settle in around -2.5 in favor of Baltimore. Instead, the spread was now -3.5 and that is where it should settle in now that action was balanced. San Francisco had been getting just over 60 percent of the action on the spread early on as the +3 dog.

Baltimore lost to Seattle, scoring just 17 points, after playing a rough game against Pittsburgh. The same can probably be said of their Jacksonville loss after playing on the road against the NFL’s top defensive team, Houston.

And remember that heartbreaking loss to Dallas in San Francisco (the 49ers only loss of the season)? That one went into overtime. The 49ers had to fly into Cincinnati the next week and only managed to score 13 points, albeit that was a win.
