The spread on the Oklahoma vs. OSU game had the Cowboys as a -3 point favorite at BetDSI.com, where you can bet on your mobile device, in-progress live wagers and get up to $500 in FREE CASH.

Oklahoma State was getting 60 percent of the betting action on the spread so Gambling911.com was not anticipating a move beyond -3.5 at most online sportsbooks.  Nevertheless, as of this writing, The Orleans sportsbook in Vegas did offer up a line of -4.

The OVER/UNDER in this game opened at …..drum roll please….. 78!!!!!  BetDSI.com had the total now at 71.5.

This is still a sick total BUT…

Two of the last three games in this series actually did go over the 78 number.  One of the Oklahoma Sooners last four games went over this number while OSU had two of its last four go over this total.  The idea of sitting through this game waiting for the scores to total 72 is enough to turn us off when it comes to the total betting regardless of any positive trending.  Total betting, by the way, was pretty even.

Scroll down for more important stats and a fantastic (vital information for bettors) video betting preview for Oklahoma vs. OSU:

Oklahoma has owned this series over the last 8 games and won last season as a +2.5 underdog.

The Sooners are 5-0-1 Against The Spread in their last 6 games as a road underdog.

The Cowboys are 7-0 ATS in their last 7 games as a home favorite of 3.5-10.0.

Oklahoma may be ranked number 11 in the nation but they are number 4 in the Don Best Linesmaker Poll.

“This is an awesome game,” noted Brian Blessing of Don Best TV.
