Popular online poker player Ilari Sahamies made out like a bandit in high stakes play during the month of November to the tune of $1 million.

From PokerListings.com:

The aggressive Finn was easily the biggest story of the month as he crushed almost every opponent and stacked his way to nearly $945,000 in profit.

Sahamies has been playing on another level the last few months and now looks to be almost a lock to finish 2011 as the biggest winner on PokerStars.

Online, Sahamies is better known as “Ziigmund".   His success online has not necessarily been realized on the live player circuit.  While Sahamies has won some live tournaments, his total winnings are around a half million since 2004.

His biggest win was at the Helsinki Freezeout, a 2nd place finish in September 2009 that resulted in a $177,559 pay day.
