Merge Gaming Network climbed to ninth place after spending seven weeks in 10th, according to the popular traffic monitoring website PokerScout.com.

That website noted that Merge continues to reap the benefits of staying in the US market, with traffic rising 74 percent from this same time last year.  Carbon Poker representatives concurred with this assessment of their online poker traffic

Bodog/Bovada traffic began to stabilize, falling only 1.7 percent after the previous week's 9.5 percent drop, PokerScout.com noted.

Bodog and PokerScout are currently involved in a heated battle over such reporting with Bodog claiming PokerScout is simply “making up traffic numbers” as it applies to them.  Bodog insists its updated online poker software is anonymous.

Elsewhere, iPoker and PartyGaming are once again in a dead heat occupying the number 2 spot, though this week iPoker was given the nod due to its stronger cash player showings in terms of recent trending data.   Over the next couple of weeks, these two online poker networks could potentially swap positions.
