The Chargers vs. Lions spread had Detroit as a 1 point home favorite with some books offering a line of -2.  This game can be bet at BetOnline.com, which was offering up to $900 in FREE CASH based on amount of initial deposit.

After a rough stretch, the Chargers are still capable of making the Playoffs after getting back to .500.  The Lions had a record of 9-5.

Tony Bryant of BetOnline.com noted about the Chargers:

“With the league’s sixth-ranked passing attack spearheading an offense that is finally getting healthy, the Chargers have scored at least 34 points in three straight wins to climb back to .500 and in to contention in the AFC West. While the offense will get all of the credit, the defense has done an excellent job of generating pressure up front and disrupting the timing of opposing offenses, while even contributing some turnovers. San Diego may be the most dangerous team that nobody has been talking about, and with their recent history in the month of December, they should not be underestimated.”

The Chargers are 7-3-2 Against The Spread in their last 12 games as a road underdog of 0.5-3.0.

The Chargers are 18-8-3 ATS in their last 29 games as a road underdog

The Lions are 5-0-3 ATS in their last 8 games as a favorite of 0.5-3.0.
