Blake Frazier of BetOnline.com noted:  “This year’s Outback Bowl will have an interesting backdrop to it as two teams that fell short in their respective conference title games look to bounce back and finish their respective year’s with a win. The Georgia Bulldogs were no match for the top-ranked LSU Tigers in the SEC title game, but will have a better chance at getting the job done against a Michigan State Spartans’ team that lost to the Wisconsin Badgers by a field goal in the Big Ten Championship game.”

He added:  “The Spartans have lost four straight bowl games and counting, and there is no reason to think that the bleeding will stop against one of the top teams from the SEC.”

BetOnline.com opened the line on the Outback Bowl at -2 and moved it all the way up to -4 before settling on the number 3.5 heading into Saturday.

Spread betting action on this game could not be any more balanced at virtually 50/50.

The Outback Bowl will be played on Monday.
