Poker Pros Girlfriends, Wives From Hell

Poker pros haven’t always been lucky in love, as we have discovered in recent weeks (a la that Jonathan Duhamel home invasion, allegedly planned by his ex).

Phil Laak (The Unabomber) – He may be madly in love with his poker playing girlfriend Jennifer Tilly but talk about a girlfriend from Hell, literally.

We know Jennifer’s probably a great girl in real life but Ms. Tilly is probably best known for her film role in the popular horror franchise “Bride of Chucky”.

Here is an excerpt from the horror classic:

Outside of a convenience store, two individuals named Jesse and Jade are pulled over by a police officer, who asks to search Jesse's car for planted drugs. After he finds it, he goes to his car to report what has been discovered. During this time, Chucky crawls over and shoves a cloth into the police officer’s gas tank and lights it.  The police officer is killed when his car explodes and, seeing the explosion, Jesse and Jade flee the scene. Soon, they stop at a wedding chapel/hotel and are married. They meet a con-artist couple who steal Jesse's money. During that time, Jade's uncle tries to run away but is stabbed numerous times in the back by Chucky. As the criminals have sex in their room, Tiffany takes a bottle of champagne and throws it into the mirrored ceiling, sending down shards of glass and killing the two con-artists. Chucky then proposes to Tiffany then they begin to have sex.

Bill Gustafik – At least Phil Laak’s real life girlfriend is just a “virtual” murderer, playing one on the big screen.  Gustafik’s wife really did the deed. 

Gustafik, who had won over $160,000 on the professional poker circuit in the last calender year, was found stabbed to death in his Las Vegas condo on Wednesday. Gustafik's wife, Jill Rockcastle, was arrested in San Luis Obispo, as the chief suspect.  She stabbed Gustafik approximately 15 times. 

Rockcastle would later claim her husband was abusive and she feared for her own life but a judge ultimately sentenced her to life.

Dave Colclough - Scottish beauty, Rhowena Colclough, the main star of a television poker show was thrown out of the home she shared with her 43-year-old poker pro husband after he caught her in bed with another man.  The other man, he was 26 and a friend of the poker pro. 

Phil Ivey – Phil Ivey’s ex recently reached a divorce settlement with his ex-wife Luciaetta, who received as part of the settlement a purse collection worth more than $1.2 million, jewelry valued at more than $1 million and $180,000 a month in alimony as part of the divorce settlement, while he accepted more than $170,000 in credit card debt and more than $15.1 million "in gambling and other debt."

Jonathan Duhamel – Up until a few weeks ago, we here at Gambling911.com all thought that Lucieaetta would be the poster woman for “Wives and Girlfriends of Poker Pros From Hell”, but Bianca Rojas-Latraverse beat her good….not to mention she beat 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event champion and ex-boyfriend Jonathan Duhamel really good as well….enough to send him to the hospital.  She is currently charged with orchestrating a brazen home invasion at the residence of Duhamel and waits to see if she is granted bail.   Rojas-Latraverse is also charged with conspiracy and robbery.
