The casino billionaire magnate Sheldon Adelson is reportedly spending $5 million to a Super PAC group supporting Newt Gingrich.  Adelson is said to be a huge supporter of the former House Speaker.

The Washington Post reported over the weekend that Adelson gave the money on Jan. 6 to Winning Our Future, an independent committee, or Super PAC, run by former Gingrich associates.  Gingrich has accused Romney, the former Governor of Massachusetts, of using similar Super PAC’s to air crushing 30-second ads leading up to the Iowa Caucus.  Gingrich watched his poll numbers drop dramatically following the commercials airing.

One of the advertisements being released by Winning Our Future is 30-minutes long and depicts Romney as a corporate raider during his days at Bain Capital.  Bain cut at least 1,600 jobs at Dade Behring Inc., a Deerfield, Illinois- based medical-testing company.

A senior adviser to the PAC, Rick Tyler, told Bloomberg News that the documentary will run in South Carolina, though no date has been scheduled.

“Mitt Romney is not a capitalist,” Tyler said. “He is a predatory corporate mugger. If you ever wonder why so many manufacturing jobs are overseas, you need to look no further than Mitt Romney. He can claim thousands of jobs created, only those jobs were created in Mexico and Southeast Asia.”

Adelson is chairman and CEO of the Las Vegas Sands Corp. and believed to be worth more than $21 billion.
