The line on Virginia Tech Hokies vs. Miami Hurricanes opened at -3 ½ and since that time not all college football betting lines have been the same.  In fact, we counted three different lines on this game: 4, 4 ½ and 5.  The Mirage in Vegas was still sitting at -4 while one or two online outfits had the -4 ½ line and nearly everyone else was offering Miami at -5 including the fine folks at betED.com

Against The Spread, Virginia Tech is 8-2 in this series.  They are also 6-4 Straight Up.  Virginia Tech has won 4 of the last 5 Straight Up.

There are some really solid stats supporting the Hokies.

They are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games in November; 13-4 ATS in their last 17 Thursday games;  12-4 ATS in their last 16 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and are 25-9 ATS in their last 34 conference games.

The Hurricanes, meanwhile, are 7-15-1 ATS in their last 23 conference games, 1-6 ATS in their last 7 home games vs. a team with a winning road record and are 1-11 ATS in their last 12 games following a bye week.

Does Gambling911.com really love Virginia Tech in this situation?  You betcha.  Our pick is Virginia Tech at +5 at betED.com
