PartyPoker Pulls Away From The Pack

For the first time in a long time, PartyPoker has built a solid lead over closest rival the iPoker Network.

For the past six months, the two rooms have alternated between the number two and number three spots in terms of global traffic.

Kicking off this week, Party now holds a comfortable lead, averaging close to 600 more real cash players than iPoker on average.

Not withstanding the fact that PokerStars is five times the size of Party, the world’s number two largest online poker room (currently) is still four times the size of substantial sites like Everest and Bodog.

In the past, PartyPoker has managed to climb up the ranks by offering rake structure changes and other enticing promos, only to fall again after ending such campaigns.

That could happen again once January concludes and Party stops offering its rake-free tournaments.
