Barry Denson announced he is readying to beat Phil Laak’s old Guinness record of 115 straight hours playing poker.
Laak logged those hours playing at the Bellagio poker room in Vegas two years ago and managed to finish with a $6,766 profit.
Denson has been hitting his Twitter page with the workup towards this July event.
“In 1894 Russian physician Marie de Manaceine kept four puppies awake almost five days, at which point the puppies died,” he wrote. And, “What songs would you suggest for my MP3 player to help keep me awake for 115 hours?”
Denson also tweeted: “Come to ‘115 Hour Poker Marathon World Record Attempt’ 1 July at 00:00 until 6 July at 00:00.”
