Online poker traffic the world over fell 0.6 percent this week according to PokerScout.com

Eight of the top ten sites lost ground this week while two rose.  One of the bigger surprises is that International Poker Network (IPN) witnessed a 10 percent drop despite its Bad Beat Jackpot rising over $1 million US.

Elsewhere, the world’s largest online poker room, PokerStars, has seen a 5 percent drop in traffic since the start of the new year.  Stars just released its Zoom Poker product, which is based on now defunct Full Tilt Poker’s high stakes game Rush Poker.  PokerScout.com noted that, while Rush Poker accounted for less than 30 percent of ring game players, the game racked up nearly 50 percent of all ring game hands dealt.

PartyPoker, meanwhile, continued to pull away from rival iPoker Network to hold a tight grasp on the number two spot.  Party was averaging about 500 to 600 more players per day.
