2012 Super Bowl Prediction: BetOnline Analyst Says Patriots Win It, So Go With The Giants

Tony Bryant, an analyst for the fastest growing online sportsbook BetOnline.com, offered up his 2012 Super Bowl prediction.  He says go with the Patriots.  In a moment we’ll explain why we think Tony may be secretly on the Giants (may be).  By the way, BetOnline.com is one of the few offering the Patriots at -2.5 plus you can get up to $900 in free cash when you join here (based on initial deposit/what you open your account with to start wagering).

The NFL betting line for this game probably won’t move a lot from 2.5 points unless there is a major injury, so expect to see the Patriots favored at kickoff. There are so many storylines that this could be the biggest Super Bowl of the last decade, and both teams are very deserving of being in the big game in Indianapolis.

The Patriots have to slow down the New York defensive line to have a chance, and their secondary has to contain the Giants’ big-play trio of Victor Cruz, Hakeem Nicks and Mario Manningham. Look for a few new wrinkles in the New England defense and it’ll be up to the Giants to decipher what they’re seeing, and then react. There isn’t a big edge on either side, but you should go with the Patriots to barely cover the spread in the Super Bowl.

So here is the deal.  Tony works for a sportsbook.  If everyone was to take his advise and wager on the Pats to cover, BetOnline.com would be paying out a lot of people.

Tony may actually believe the Patriots will win.  He offers up a pretty good analysis on the BetOnline.com website.

But the oddsmakers at BetOnline.com have a strong opinion on this game.  Why else would they be holding at -2.5 when everyone else is at -3?

Just some food for thought folks.
