The world's second largest online poker room has joined forces with one of the world's greatest Mixed Martial Arts fighters, Randy Couture.

Fresh off his loss to the powerful Brock Lesner in UFC 91 Saturday night, Couture has announced his latest venture:  He'll be a "friend" to Full Tilt Poker.

Both have something very much in common.  The two were served lawsuits over the last 7 days.

The media firm TOAST was claiming that Couture failed to pay approximately $125,000 for an event hosted by his organization, Xtreme Couture GI Foundation.  Terry Coffing, the attorney representing Toast of New York, said Couture has only paid $50,000 of his $175,000 bill.

Full Tilt Poker was served a lawsuit by a jilted 1 percent partner in the firm who claimed she had yet to be paid by the company, which is estimated to take in millions of dollars every week.

Couture is the only five-time champion in Ultimate Fighting Championship history and was the first fighter to win championship titles in two different weight classes. In 2006, he became just the fourth fighter to be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame.

Outside of MMA fighting, Couture is an avid poker fan and player.

Another big name athlete is widely rumored to be jumping on board Full Tilt Poker competitor, Doylesroom.com.  That would be Olympic gold medalist swimmer, Micheal Phelps, though no deal has been entered into as of yet.  Doyles Room's Doyle Brunson had been teaching the much younger Phelps various poker strategies during a trip to Las Vegas following his huge Summer Olympics wins.
