Sites like 888.com have proliferated throughout Canada while PokerStars enjoys a decent chunk of the online gambling market as well.

Internet wagering is legal in provinces like British Columbia where the industry is run exclusively by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation.  Gambling Compliance claims that the launch of online poker has proven to be more headache than moneymaker for Canada’s provincial lottery corporations.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation is planning to expand its sports betting options in the coming months.
