The Lotteries and Gaming Authority of Malta (LGA) is still closely monitoring the “non-compliance” issues involving one of its licensees, Everleaf Gaming.

The small poker network which is home to Minted Poker, abruptly exited the US market back in February after it was revealed authorities in Washington State had seized funds belonging to one of the company’s payment processors last October.  For the past two months, Everleaf has made it close to impossible for US players to withdraw their funds.  Currently, they are only offering US players the option to establish a non-US bank account.  For the vast majority of Everleaf’s customer base, this option is simply not feasible.

The LGA issued a statement this past Friday that shed very little light on the situation.

“... Everleaf Gaming Limited has closely collaborated with the LGA and is addressing the identified non-compliances, where the LGA is closely following Everleaf’s operation in order to ensure continued adherence to the Laws of Malta.”
